      5. Teams had to search for two elements on the Periodic Table on Season 18. Determine which element is given the symbol 'W'. Then take the first letter of that word and determine the position of that letter in the English alphabet. (For example, A is 1, B is 2, C is 3, etc.). Next, determine the element given the symbol 'Au' and take the first letter and determine its position in the alphabet (like before). Then subtract the lower number from the larger number. What is your total? (2 marks)

      6. Take the number of holes of golf that Blake & Paige had to play in the 'Heat Up' Detour option on Season 2. Then add the total number of minutes that Reichen & Chip were penalised at the Pit Stop at the Mooloolaba Yacht Club on Season 4. Multiply this number by the total number of all-male teams who have arrived last at an Australian Pit Stop (eliminations, NELs and TBCs). What is your total? (3 marks)

      7. Determine exactly how many teams have ever come to Australia on the race. Multiply this by the number of teams who chose the 'Sand' Detour option on Season 9. Now take these five teams and allocate a '1' for all the teams who made the first flight to Broken Hill on Season 18 and a '2' for all the teams who made the second flight (Gary & Mallory, Kisha & Jen, Kent & Vyxsin, Ron & Christina and Jaime & Cara). Add all of those numbers together and then multiply it to the number you had from the previous multiplication. What is the total? (4 marks)
